Houston, TX—Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) announced she has earned the endorsement of the Latino Labor Leadership Council of Southeast Texas for her 2022 re-election.

A second-term Member of Congress, Fletcher was first elected to represent Texas’ Seventh Congressional District in 2018 after a decisive victory over nine-term incumbent John Culberson in 2018, becoming the first Democrat in more than 50 years and the first woman ever to represent TX-07. In 2020, she was re-elected over one of the National Republican Congressional Committee’s best-funded challengers.Her re-election campaign is in the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Frontline program of priority races.
In the 117th Congress, Fletcher serves on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee.
